As Women’s History Month draws to a close, we are proud to celebrate the whole women's team at Best Venues Event Management & Venue Sourcing Agency. Women’s History Month is about celebrating the important role of women in American history, and we feel blessed to be able to count some strong, capable, and amazing women within our team.
Over the last month, we have reflected upon the advances women in American society have made over the last 20 years and thought about the achievements of incredible women throughout history. So, now as the world is opening up again after the global pandemic, is the time to focus on pushing towards further equality and opportunities for the next generation of women and girls that will lead us into the future.
As women continue to play a vital role in businesses both large and small, we will continue to support the woman in our team in finding their place and voice in an ever-changing world.
So let us introduce you to our team!
Meet Anna:
Anna has over 20 years of experience in the event planning and hospitality industry. In 2015, she founded Best Venues and through a combination of hard work, perseverance, and dedication has expanded her business to become a well-respected global corporate event planner.
Anna’s passion for what she does is clear to see: she can execute and educate her clients on unique venues; what it takes to make an engaging and successful event; and how to maximize their event budget. She works with an international clientele, placing them in the world's top venues, and planning multi-million dollar events.
Anna understands the unique pressure women can face in business and continues to blaze a trail forward with an expansion to London and a growing list of happy clients.
Having worked with almost every venue in New York City, Anna is no stranger to venues that check all her clients' boxes. She has recently been planning trade shows at Pier Sixty for clients such as Zak Trade and Insure Tech. Anna says, “their large indoor and outdoor event space with flexible layout of 30,000 square feet, great hospitality, and location offer clients the ability to customize their event to foster a successful trade show or large conferences.”
Meet Sandra:
Sandra is no stranger to her clients' needs. She has worked for Michelin-star restaurants, has led management teams for high-end properties in New York, and consistently works with clients to secure venues for large conferences and galas.
With a strong background in hospitality, Sandra has the unique ability to instantly visualize her clients' event vision and recommend the perfect venue.
Recently Sandra has been placing clients with Gotham Hall. She says, “this landmark venue brings a unique story to my client’s galas and conferences.” Sandra believes venues like Gotham Hall offer a backdrop for creating lasting memories and remind us of the versatility of many New York venues.
Meet Fayth:
Fayth pairs her affinity for logistics with her love for her clients as a key event planner for Best Venues. With a background in sales for top venues, such as Hilton Midtown, Fayth offers a unique financial angle to event planning that gives our clients peace of mind that their needs will be realized. With degrees in event management and marketing, she navigates tight schedules to execute events with ease.
Fayth is not only an advocate for her clients while she prepares them for their events with branding ideas, but she also takes the reigns with personal touches on the day of having built relationships throughout the planning process.
Fayth enjoys placing her clients in venues with a view. Recently she has been connecting clients with Skylark. This unique rooftop, located near Times Square, has beautiful views of the Empire State Building and the New Year's Eve Ball Drop.
Meet Grace:
Grace began her career in brand events and experiential marketing in the luxury space. Since then, she has placed high-profile corporate clients in some of the leading venues in New York City. Grace consistently places her clients in top venues that are within budget, on the necessary date, and ideal for their program. Grace's favorite part of venue sourcing is negotiating the best rates for her clients and booking clients in unique venues worldwide.
Grace enjoys helping her clients execute customized events in raw event spaces. Recently she has been placing her clients in Lavan541, a well-known location for brands, corporate, and social events alike. Grace shared, "Lavan541 was home to MXV Venture Capital’s Annual Sponsor Event in 2022 and seamlessly turned into a futuristic lounge with custom décor and branded details.”
Meet Camelia:
Camelia is the newest addition to the team as our Marketing Coordinator. Camelia is studying Marketing Management and International Business at Baruch College. She has been in the field as she has worked with Ride the Wave News, Solana, and America’s Marketing Association (AMA). Her experience in multiple high-end marketing positions has given her the perfect skillset for Best Venues’ clients. She makes it possible for the expansion of our clientele and venue members as she creates marketing materials, and newsletters, and is a key liaison for communication from our team to our clients.
