A Warm Welcome
From lobster rolls to skyline views — here’s what we loved about Thompson Central Park New York.
Last week, Anna and Savina had the absolute pleasure of staying at Thompson Central Park New York — and from the moment they stepped through the doors, the experience was exceptional.
Chic hotel entry with expansive glass panels and refined details
They were warmly welcomed by the wonderful Magdalena Zambrano — the hotel’s Senior Sales Manager — who gave them a personal tour of the hotel and its event spaces. She walked them through each room, offering thoughtful insights on how the spaces could be styled for a variety of events — a truly valuable perspective for planners.
Spaces Made for Events
Tucked just off Central Park on 56th Street, the hotel has had a full refresh and is now a top choice for high-end executive stays and corporate events.
There are five versatile rooms that can be configured individually or combined to suit your needs, each with dedicated pre-function space to ensure smooth transitions between sessions.
Ella – 1,653 sq ft (up to 140 guests)
Spacious event space with banquet-style round table setup
The largest of the rooms, Ella is perfect for keynote sessions, networking events, or elegant seated dinners. Its open plan offers flexible setup options, while the pre-function area provides a natural welcome zone or breakout lounge. Think modern sophistication with subtle NYC flair.
Duke – 1,218 sq ft (up to 80 guests)
Versatile event space arranged for a boardroom-style meeting with modern AV setup
Ideal for leadership meetings, training sessions, or product previews, Duke offers a more intimate setting without sacrificing impact. The room benefits from clean lines, built-in AV, and proximity to Ella, allowing for smooth transitions during multi-room events.
Miles – 783 sq ft (up to 50 guests)
Flexible event room perfect for corporate meetings, presentations, and networking
A favorite for creative brainstorming, client pitches, or private dinners, Miles feels tucked away yet polished. With its natural daylight, adaptable layout, and cozy scale, it provides just enough privacy while keeping things professional and stylish.
Billie – 630 sq ft (up to 30 guests)
Cozy, elegant setup for a private dinner or small group discussion
Billie is perfectly sized for roundtable discussions, workshops, or press briefings. It’s also ideal as a dedicated VIP greenroom or executive breakout space during larger events in Ella or Duke.
Minton – 264 sq ft (ideal for breakouts or one-on-ones)
Compact room perfect for one-on-one meetings or focused breakout sessions
Small but mighty, Minton is made for focused conversations — be it coaching sessions, media interviews, or a quiet workspace. It’s a great add-on when privacy and discretion are essential.
