History of the space:
It’s no secret that this is one of the most historic venues in town, so we went straight to the venue to hear all about Russian Tea Room’s incredible past: “The history of TheRussianTea Room dates back in 1927. Founded by members of theRussianImperial Ballet, who fled to America following the Revolution. TheRussianTea Room then expanded to full-service dining during World War II. In 1995, visionary Warner LeRoy of Tavern on the Green revitalized the restaurant.” -Russian Tea Room Team.
